I absolutely love Sylvia Plath. I adore her. The mad-artist mentality doesn’t do it for me, but rather, her words, and just who she was. In time for National Poetry Month comes a new verse collection that celebrates Sylvia’s life in poems.
Your Own, Sylvia is an imagining in poetry of Sylvia’s life, from birth to death, and everything in between.
I’ve not read this myself ( woe ) but you can read a review at Bookpage. If you read it, let me know how it is!
Also, Plath’s husband, Ted Hughes’s collection of children’s poetry was just released in the United States.
